Bitmine Immersion Technologies, the Ethereum treasury company founded by Tom Lee, added 9,926 ETH in the week ending Aug 16. Holdings reached approximately 5.82 million ETH, about 4.8% of Ethereum's circulating supply. At a reference ETH price near $1,893, the position is worth about $11 billion.
The company carries more than $8.4 billion in unrealized losses, about 43% of its portfolio value, according to DropsTab. Bitmine stakes more than 5 million ETH, worth about $9.6 billion. At a 2.61% seven-day staking yield, that implies roughly $287 million in projected annualized staking rewards.
Bitmine has added ETH every week since it launched its Ethereum treasury strategy in June 2025. The weekly accumulation resumed this month after a pause. Data as of Aug 17, 2026.
