US spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $201.8 million in net outflows on Friday, Aug 28, ending a nine-session inflow run, according to data from SoSoValue. ARK 21Shares (ARKB) led the outflows at $114.9 million, followed by Bitwise BITB at $49.7 million and BlackRock IBIT at $33.4 million. Morgan Stanley's MSBT was the only fund to post inflows, adding $9.3 million.

The reversal followed more than $3 billion in net inflows over the prior nine sessions. August flows remain positive at roughly +$3.3 billion with one US trading session left in the month. Total net assets of the funds fell to $97.6 billion after crossing $100 billion on Thursday.

Bitcoin slipped below $78,000, trading near $78,270 on CoinGecko at the time. The pullback in Bitcoin ETFs did not extend to other products: Ether ETFs added $102.2 million and XRP ETFs $26.2 million in inflows on the same day.

In a separate trend, Solana-based ETFs passed $1.7 billion in cumulative flows, and Bitwise's SOL fund surpassed $1 billion in assets under management, according to Eric Balchunas. The moves across the complex all point in the same direction: flows concentrated in Bitcoin reversed on Friday while flows into several other token funds continued.
